Building on Our Success

The Native Youth Centre is being developed in Vancouver by the Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA) in partnership with Native youth. The 50,000 sq. ft. energy efficient building will improve opportunities for youth and be a community landmark. It will consolidate and expand upon our existing programs to create an effective continuum of support, educational, training, artistic, cultural, and employment programs that will help youth to create positive change in their lives and reach thier full potential. Contributing financially to the NYC is a great way for all Canadians to contribute to reconciliation by creating a centre that will be a tangible result of working together in support of Native youth.

Help our partners raise funds for the NYC

These ongoing partnerships are helping to raise funds and awareness about the Native Youth Centre.  Please support these initiatives and spread word amongst your networks.

Annual Bentwood Box Auctions has been a fantastic success!
Thank you to the Lattimer Gallery for hosting this annual fundraiser, to the artists who generously share their creativity, time, and skills, to those who have purchased a bentwood box, and to those who have made matching and individual donations.  Together, we raise $88,301.50 to support our capital campaign!  You can see the artists names, pics of the boxes, and how much they sold for by clicking here.   We continue to seek generous donors who will help us to match all or part of the funds raised through this great initiative.
Sales of First Nations 101 book is benefitting Native youth!
Lynda Gray has committed to donating $1 from the sale of every First Nations 101 book to our capital campaign.  At the end of 2015, Lynda has donated $11,000 to support the Native Youth Centre.  Our Board of Directors encourages everyone to check out and order this great book at
